CPR & AED (Defibrillator Training) ½ Day

No longer just for Doctors, Paramedics and Nurses - Advances in technology now make it possible for rescuers with very limited training to provide defibrillation following sudden cardiac arrest.

Each minute it takes to reach a cardiac arrest victim with a defibrillator, reduces their chances of survival by 10%. In ten minutes the chances of restarting the heart reduces from 85% to almost none.

With training direct from Paramedics who have unrivalled experience in advanced cardiac support, your staff can learn the vital technique of defibrillation in only one day.

At Medi-Tec we operate a comprehensive "AED" training scheme. The scheme follows the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) recommendations.

The initial certificate is valid for 6 months, after which students should attend a half-day refresher course. On successful outcome of the refresher assessment, the certificate is valid for a further 6 months.
