One vital treatment after illness or injury that has traditionally only been available from ambulance and nursing staff is oxygen. The quickest killer of all is lack of oxygen to the brain.
This course is ideal for staff in Nursing Homes, Leisure Centres and Swimming Pools or industries where there is a risk of dangerous fume inhalation etc. Students will learn how to use this important equipment safely and promptly in an emergency.
The course includes:
- The respiratory system
- Risks and safety procedures of oxygen therapy
- Indications and contra-indications of oxygen
- Oxygen therapy practical
